Cozy corner in your home.

What is your favorite spot in your home?.It is amazing sometimes with all the rooms that we may have in our house,there is that one liitle corner that when we look at it puts a smile on our face and brings us so much joy. Sometime it is because we found it at one of our favorite shops or a liitle place we found driving on the backroads to no where . Maybe it is an heirloom or just simply something your Mom or Aunt gave you down the line and you can't even remember when and how that even happened. What ever the case may be this spot is your cozy place . I am sharing with you one of my favorite spots in my house , this scrubbed pine cabinet was a great face book market find . My husband and I had to drive almost three hours to Connecticut to get it . The coolest part about this piece is the history behind it . We dove up to an amazing home on a lake that use to be there "summer" home . Her husband had passed away and she was now selling the house to move into a condo . Within this house was a life long amount of treasures that were collected throughout the years, most from Germany where they were first from . My piece in the corner was flown from Germany to the United States . It actually fits like a puzzle and breaks down in two pieces . I got to hear first hand when they first saw it how they found it and how they fell in love with it and shipped it all that way. My cozy corner use to be part of someone else's, how cool is that?. So at the end of the day,when you sit down in your cozy corner try to from time to time remember how and why it is so special to you .
