Heading home for the holidays.

Sitting here on this cold and snowy day thinking about how soon Christmas will be here and how much stress and running around it seems to cause us ( I guess if we let it ).I feel as we get older it seems to be harder and harder to buy for people, why is that I ask myself?. Is it because we are running out of ideas? Is it because we really all can buy what we want when we want during the year? Or is it that the magic of it all just washed away as an adult? I think for me the importance of family has really risen to the top,not that it was not important all along but with the now loss of my Mother you realize even more that a thing is just a thing ... replaceable, but a person is not of course . Are you traveling for the holidays to go "home" your home sweet home from your childhood or maybe your spouses?. Are you traveling far? Maybe another country?Or maybe the next town over? Where ever it may be you are for the holidays I hope it is special and filled with love, amazing memories with the people you hold the closest to your heart ❤️.
